Founder
DOUG MESSIER
Following a successful professional playing career of his own, Doug began a coaching legacy that would last a lifetime. Through prep school, junior, and professional ranks, he maintained an emphasis on skill development and the importance of character, while helping countless players reach the next level.
Founding the Messier International Hockey School in 1964, Doug offered kids around North America a chance to learn from the best. Today, Poppy is still an influential member of our day-to-day operations; we are proud to carry on his legacy and uphold the pillars on which our hockey school was built.
